Kitty-ology!

Hi Everyone!

It's Shannah here today to share some Whimsy Inspiration with you!

My card today features the absolutely adorable 'Kitty-ology' and the included sentiment from the Crissy Armstrong Collection, available at Whimsy Stamps.

The image is stamped in Momento Tuxedo ink and coloured with Copic markers. It is then die-cut and mounted onto the card over a layer of cheesecloth for some extra texture.

The papers are from the Kaisercraft 'Blue Bay' 6x6 paper pad, and I've covered the join with some pretty decorative ribbon. I finished with some flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts and a few pearls.

I hope you like it! You can see more details on my Blog;  Embellished ExpresShan's.

Thanks so much for visiting today and hope you have a great week!

Wee Stamps 'Cindy'

Hello, Cindy here today.  I hope your week is going well!

Today I want to share a card I made using the Wee Stamps 'Cindy' image. I had to have this one when I saw the name...:)

I colored this cutie with Copics. When I pictured this card in my head....:) I envisioned 'circles' and this is what I came up with. The sentiment is from the Clearly Whimsy Stamp set 'Happy Hello'.  I also used the background stamp 'Music Note', you can barely see it but there is some yellow music notes in the background.  I just cut a bunch of circles in various sizes, super fun to make.

Hope you like my card today. Have a fabulous weekend!

Bunny Present

Good morning Whimsy fans!  I hope you enjoyed April's release from a few weeks back.  If you missed all of April's goodness you can find everything you need in the Whimsy store under the new products tab.

One of my fav stamps from the new collection was Bunny on Present from Lee Holland
He's been all dolled up with Copics.  I colored him blue for a boy's birthday, but the stamp would be perfect for any gender.

The happy birthday sentiment is from Whimsy's clear collection called Painted Sayings

Thanks for stopping by for you daily dose of Whimsy!!

I love elephants, love them so had to colour up this cutie Elephant and Butterflies from Whimsy Stamps .

I stamped out the image twice so I could colour up and cut out an extra set of butterflies for dimension.  I adhered them after I had done the sky background using a cloud mask.

I went for a round card for a change.

Oceanna: Copic Coloring

Hello Crafters!

For today's post I'm working with the new Oceanna stamp. It's part of the April release and I think she's just beautiful!
I'm always drawn to Mi Ran's stamps. Which stamps do you gravitate toward?

I started by stamping the beautiful mermaid in Copic safe ink.
I used distress ink to lay down a base color for both the water and the sand. This cut down on how much copic ink I had to put down to build my background scene.

I used my copics to create some wavy lines to add a few details as well as the base coloring. This is something I'm still practicing as I usually prefer to add details with my white gel pen. I added some bubbles into the water and then highlighted them with a sparkle pen.

While I was priming my sparkle pen I was a little over zealous and a *huge* drop fell onto my background. No worries, a few rocks covered it right up. haha!

Thanks so much for stopping by!
If there's something you'd like to see in the future please let me know :)

xoxo
